Evaluation

This option focuses on the development of skills in understanding algebraic thinking as evidenced in students’ written work.  This module gives participants an opportunity to practice analyzing classroom data for evidence of algebraic thinking, and to become comfortable with the language of the algebraic habits of mind, before moving on to one of the other modules.  To help with the analysis of written student work, we provide some student work examples and then provide guidelines for you and your colleagues to collect examples for analysis.
